Pokemon Crossing App: Antonia

ARIGHT ARIGHT ARIGHT. So got in on this super awesome group and has been telling me all about it. I thought I would give it a shot and try and get in, even though there are like, four times as many people trying for a spot than there are actual spots... Hohboy... Hope I make it...

- HISTORY:
Being born into a rather eccentric family there really was no doubt Antonia would be quite the character later in life. She was not the oledest of her siblings, though by no means was she the youngest either. No, the young hoothoot was very much in the middle of all of her brothers and sisters. A total of three older siblings and four younger were her family, and together they all got along rather well. Their parents were both Noctowls that had come to the region from Jhoto when they were young. It was an act of love, running away together in such a fashion, and they had gone on many the adventure about Kanto together before settling down. They were travelers at heart, deep down, and nothing made them happier than wandering the countryside. They lived the life of gypsies, setting up outside of the towns they came upon and entertaining to earn a living. It was a beautiful existance, and the two could not have been happier.

Their adventures ended about three years later with the birth of their first daughter. Elizabeta was a fragile little hoothoot and was unfit for travel, so the three bird pokemon found a nice little place in Mt. Moon to call home where Elzi would be safe. Several more children followed in the years to come, including young Tsveta Antonia four years later. Unlike her eldest sister, Antonia was hardly small or weak. Instead, she would grow to be the biggest off al her sisters, and the toughest.

Living in Mt. Moon, the Kobor Noctowls were happy for a time. They raised their children according to Gyspy ideals, teaching them to work hard as well as how to perform. Antonia and her Older brother Atilla were the only two to really take hold to the lifestyle though, often performing for the neighbor zubats and clefairy and playing 'Gypsy Travelers' when they weren't busy. The pair were fascinated by the idea of living the way their parents had even when the rest of their siblings couldn't care less. Antonia was an excellent dancer and Atilla had fantastic rhythm.

Around Antonia's 18th birthday she caught Elizabeta sneaking out early one morning. Following her, the younger hoothoot was shocked when she found herself witness to an attempted kidnapping by a golbat. Thankfully Antonia jumped in to protect her tiny older sister, and by the time the golbat had been chased off the young hoothoot found she had evolved into a noctowl.

A few days later, Atilla announced to the family that he was planning on leaving to travel the world as their parents had done. Antonia was distraught at the thought of losing her closest brother, and the night of his departure she begged for him to take her along. The older noctowl was reluctant at first, but never one to give up, his siter pointed out that while he could keep a beat he was rubbish at dancing, and they were a better act together anyway. Laughing, Atilla agreed and the two set out a few hours later. Together they traveled all over Kanto, never staying in one place long. It was thrilling, and they had a blast. But one night while they were stopped a few miles from Saffron City Atilla met a young Pidgeotto girl and fell for her - hard. Atilla decided he was done traveling. It had been a few years that they had been gone, and he was looking for something more now. This was horribly disappointing to Antonia, but she agreed when she saw how much in love her brother was. She bade him farewell two nights later and set out on her own for somewhere she had never been.

Wandering the countryside, Antonia saw many places, but she felt rather empty being alone. She had never been alone her entire life with so many siblings, so this was new for her. She met plenty of people in her journey, but none would go with her. There was something missing, and she had to find it. Every town she passed brought the same longing, so she ran. It wasn't until she discovered Pokette that she finally felt like maybe settling down wasn't such a bad thing. So it was that the noctowl began a new chapter in her life.


- HOBBY: Dancing to entertain, telling stories of her life as well as making things up, listening to stories (especially about history and the like), stargazing, helping people pack and move


- JOB: Works for a shipping company in the city packaging and loading boxes.

ODDS AND ENDS (The little things that had no place up there but I felt like sharing anyway)

- Antonia has always gone by her middle name because it is more common. She only lets very close friends call her Tony though, and if you choose to call her Tsveta she will think you're strange but will enjoy it.

- Antonia is very fond of fossil pokemon or ghost pokemon. If you happen to be a ghost/fossil pokemon she will love you forever

- Noctowls are generally silent in flight and whatnot. Antonia hates that. She likes adding coins and things to her clothing to make as much noise as possible, especially when dancing.

- Antonia can dance like nobody's business, but she can't sing or play any instruments. Her hands aren't made for such fine things as instruments and she just never really had the voice for singing. That being said, she loves listening to anyone that can sing/play and will very likely burst into some crazy dance while listening.

- Antonia is physically tough. She's spent her life carrying everything she owned with her, and she works for a shipping company in the city doing lifting and such. She knows a lot about packing and moving and enjoys helping people move when they need it.

- That being said, Antonia is actually quite handy. She isn't afraid of dirty work and is usually willing to lend a hand with difficult tasks if it's needed.

- Though she is generally well-mannered and friendly, Antonia doesn't form DEEP bonds with people unless they really try, or she sees something in them that she likes.

- Antonia likes shiny, loud jingly things. A lot.
